Via Swiss Miss
After I get through airport security and the various bull that goes along with it, I tend to be one of the people looking out the window going “Oh my god! Wow! I’m in the air, inside a giant chunk of metal and this somehow works. Awesome!” Especially during take off and landing when things get bigger and smaller or when you can see the tops of clouds. Think of how recently in history it is that people have seen the tops of clouds. Though I also occasionally get really excited about the concept of instantly available clean drinking water at any temperature I want at the turn of a knob, so don’t mind me.
Of course, I do get annoyed when I can’t get a good cell phone signal in a brick building or my internet is down for more than a couple minutes. Bring on the donkeys with clanging pots.
