Hi Kearn!

I'm glad you like poster and I'm sorry you feel like I'm a dick. The "literal interpretation" comment concerning my last name made me laugh (no sarcasm).

About the the comment left on my site...

At the time, I thought the commenter was being smug and trying to point out he was smarter than everyone else. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. Either way, my response might not have needed to be so sarcastic. I was trying to defend anyone who understood that cutting and copying was redundant but let it slide under the assumption that I understood that too.

I'm not sure sure why you needed to resort to the insults concerning my typing. I understand how punctuation and capitalization work, but I could care less about using them properly in an informal space such as my blog comments.

All that said, thanks for the reminder concerning Yudhi. I had honestly forgotten about the comment, as well as my response. Looking back now, I probably made some assumptions about his comment I shouldn't have. I just ask you please don't do the same concerning me. I know it can be fun to resort to sarcasm and insults, but I PROMISE I did fairly well on the written portion of my SATs ;)

Hi TheWiz! I agree, the poster is really cool. I wouldn't have put it on my blog if I didn't think so. The whole thing is generally a collection of things that I think are cool and think other people will enjoy (with the occasional rant interspersed).

However, unless you read the extremely small print at the bottom of the poster, you can't tell that it's a band poster. Even then it's a little bit of a stretch to put together if you're not familiar with the band or the club, though I would assume it worked well for that purpose in it's original context.

The hate (or, more accurately, mocking) isn't for the poster, it's for the designer's extremely rude response to an entirely valid question about it. Well, that and his third grade level typing and butchering of the English language.
