Free Idea Friday 3 – Probably Edible

Make a show / podcast that features very, very basic, bare bones recipes. Things like how to make scrambles eggs in the microwave, or how to use a George Foreman grill to make a full meal. Also include some of the more creative / interesting, yet simple, recipes for single serving cooking. Think dorm room and bachelor cooking.  Call the show “Probably Edible”.

I already sort of started this idea with something I call, “Late Night Gourmet.”
The idea being, your leftovers and crap in your fridge can all come together in harmony. Peanut butter and jelly or stale cornflakes can come together and make something better!!

    An example:

    Terryaki Sauce for anything:
1 cup of jelly (grape, or orange or apricot or whatever)
Garlic (I always have fresh around, but it wouldn’t have to be)
1/2 c Soy Sauce (I once tore open packets to get that much..)
    1/2 c Juice (orange, apple, sunny D…whavever)
    onions, if ya got em..
ginger.. if ya got it. (also, ginger tea can work.)

Mix all… cook on medium heat until the whole thing thickens (the sugar will caramelize a bit and thicken as the water cooks out). When it’s thick enough for you, toss it with whatever- noodles, rice, leftover chicken, veggies…

    :)
btw- microwaved eggs are never never never acceptable.

Also, I have this idea for a TV show based on similar principles… it’s called Pantry Raid… but that’s all I’m saying.
