Unfortunately, from what I can tell, the idea of making the celebration pirate themed doesn’t seem to have caught on.

And, because I find it amusing, I’d like to point out that the part Animal sings is the tuba part.  Just saying.

Also, you know what I’m looking forward to about the New Year’s Eve celebrations next year?  Seeing how they’re going to make those stupid plastic eye glasses where the frames are in the shape of the year out of a 2011.  Maybe everyone will have to ring in the New Year with only one eye open and the whole celebration all around the world will be pirate themed.  Happy New Yarrrrrr!

Random Fact: Linus Torvalds (the guy who started Linux) and the state of Iowa share a birthday – today, Dec 28th.  Linus is 40, Iowa is 163.  Happy Birthday to both!!!  In other news, I’m pretty sure noticing that makes me a huge dork, but I’m pretty okay with that.
